Qobuz on Connect playback
Control playback from the official app while a compatible streamer receives the music directly.
Before you start
- 1
Confirm that your exact receiver, speaker, or streamer model supports Qobuz Connect and update its firmware. Support for Qobuz inside a manufacturer app does not automatically mean Connect is supported.
- 2
Connect the playback device and controller phone, tablet, or computer to the same local network. Avoid guest Wi-Fi, which may isolate devices.
- 3
Sign in to the official Qobuz app with the account shown in your AudiophileStream dashboard.
Start Connect playback
- 1
Start a track in Qobuz and open the device or speaker selector on the Now Playing screen.
- 2
Choose the receiver, speaker, or streamer and wait until its name is shown as the active output.
- 3
The phone or computer now acts as the controller while the compatible playback device receives the stream directly.
If the device does not appear
- 1
Confirm both devices are on the same Wi-Fi or LAN and that no VPN, guest-network isolation, or access-point isolation separates them.
- 2
Allow local-network access for Qobuz in the phone's privacy settings, then fully close and reopen the app.
- 3
Restart the streamer and router, update the Qobuz app and device firmware, and check the manufacturer's compatibility page for that exact model.
