TIDAL on Android phone or tablet

Install APKMirror Installer from Google Play before downloading the app file.

Open the current TIDAL release link. Choose a variant compatible with your Android version and processor; use a universal variant if you are unsure and it supports your Android version.

Download only from the TIDAL release page linked here. Ignore download-style adverts and unrelated notification prompts.

Samsung only: open Settings, search for Auto Blocker, and temporarily turn it off. The menu is normally under Security and privacy.

Open APKMirror Installer, allow file access when requested, choose Browse files, and select the TIDAL file you downloaded.

Choose Install package. If Android asks whether APKMirror Installer may install unknown apps, allow it for this installation and continue.

Samsung only: turn Auto Blocker back on immediately after TIDAL is installed. You can also remove APKMirror Installer's install-unknown-apps permission.

Open your AudiophileStream dashboard and reveal the TIDAL login only when you are ready to use it.

Open TIDAL, choose Log in rather than Sign up, and enter the email and password exactly as shown. Check that password autofill has not substituted a personal account.

Play one track, then review the streaming-quality settings for Wi-Fi and mobile data before downloading music or connecting your Hi-Fi system.

A parse or compatibility error usually means the selected file does not support your Android version or processor. Return to the release page and check its requirements.

If installation is blocked, check the install-unknown-apps permission and, on Samsung, confirm Auto Blocker is temporarily off.

APKMirror installations may not update through Google Play. Use the All TIDAL Android releases link when an update is required.
