TIDAL on WiiM

Sign in through WiiM Home or use Connect, then check output and playback-quality settings.

01

Add TIDAL in WiiM Home

  1. 1

Update WiiM Home and the WiiM device firmware, then select the intended WiiM room or device.

  2. 2

Open Browse or the music-services area, choose TIDAL, and start authorization.

  3. 3

Use the exact TIDAL email and password shown in your AudiophileStream dashboard, finish authorization, and return to WiiM Home.

  4. 4

Open TIDAL inside WiiM Home and play a track. The standalone TIDAL app is not required for this direct-integration route.

02

Choose the playback method

  1. 1

Use TIDAL inside WiiM Home when you want one app to manage the streamer and music service.

  2. 2

Alternatively, use TIDAL Connect from the official app when your exact WiiM model and firmware support it. Both devices must be on the same network.

03

Check audio output

  1. 1

Choose the output actually connected to your system and run WiiM's output-resolution test before selecting a high sample rate.

  2. 2

Review TIDAL's playback quality after the service is connected.

  3. 3

For a digital connection to a compatible external DAC, review WiiM's bit-perfect guide. Fixed volume and 100% output are appropriate only when volume is safely controlled downstream.

  4. 4

For analog output or when WiiM controls listening volume, keep variable volume enabled.

04

If authorization gets stuck

  1. 1

On Android, if login returns to localhost or a blank page, turn off Desktop site in the browser and try again.

  2. 2

Set Chrome as the temporary default browser if another browser does not return authorization to WiiM Home.

  3. 3

Clear the failed service login, restart WiiM Home, and authorize again with VPN disabled on the controller phone.
